"Lovely little inn right in the center of town. Very comfortable rooms, nicely decorated. Tavern and restaurant cozy with Austrian flair to the menu. Delicious food! Everyone so friendly. Close to hiking trails, Mass MoCA, and Clark Institute of Art."
"I would definitely return to the Haflinger Haus. The owner and staff were exceptionally accommodating, and I enjoyed the historic ambiance of the inn."
"Spent a restful Saturday evening at the Haflinger Haus after a day on motorcycles. The restaurant had very delicious German and Austrian specialties. The rooms were large and comfortable. Going above and beyond, the owner was very helpful in providing a jump start to a motorcycle the next morning! Very warm and hospitable inn with great food!"
"The Haflinger Haus Inn is housed in a charming historic house in the town of Adams. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is perfectly positioned for easy access to Mt. Greylock and the rest of the beautiful Berkshires. The restaurant below serves excellent food. We will definitely will stay here again when we return!"
"Our family had an opportunity to visit and stay at the Haflinger Haus this past weekend. We found the Inn to be charming and comfortable with a warm atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, well kept, clean and nicely decorated. It has a real old-New England charm with modern amenities. Don't miss the Music Room. The inn staff was wonderful and made us feel welcome throughout our entire stay. We will definitely be back."
"OMG..So perfect. Had our small wedding here!!! Bill let me use a guest room to get ready, had the ceremony on the stairs. We had our intimate dinner in the music room... The food and the waitress was absolutely perfect."
"Great selection of food you can't get anywhere else in the Berkshire's! Authentic German and Austrian entrees, American pub food (best buffalo wings I've ever had). Atmosphere is perfect for a pub style restaurant or a fine dining experience with split rooms. Friendly staff, experienced chefs, fast service. I hope you have the opportunity to give it a try. The Wienerschnitzel is my favorite entree!!"
"We had a lovely time here for dinner tonight! We dined in the restaurant section, and the tavern looked very relaxing and fun. The restaurant was quite elegant. My husband and I stuck to the traditional Austrian/German meals and really enjoyed both of our meals, as well as the strudel we shared for dessert. Our service was great, and we really had an absolutely lovely evening. We would definitely come back!"
"On Thursday, July 23 we decided to have dinner at Haflinger Haus for the first time (we are from Eastern MA). The meal was delicious and the staff was attentive and very helpful. While dining, we were so intrigued by the lovely historic house that we spontaneously inquired about booking a room in your Inn for that evening. Bill was extremely accommodating - showing us two available rooms. We LOVED having the place to ourselves and we enjoyed our evening in this grand yet cozy and welcoming Inn. Our room was spacious and clean. Thank you to the owner for restoring this home and plans to do the same for two churches in town as well. We love historic places and respect those who invest in saving and restoring them. If we are in the area again we will definitely visit Haflinger Haus (and maybe we can get a tour of the lovely church next door??) :D"
Fantastic as always, great food and service. Atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful. The owner and staff are always interested in what customers have to offer and interested in all feedback of their experience. It is a comfortable and warming place to be.
The portions are generous and are served with haus-made spätzle, braised red cabbage (like my Austrian/Italian grandmother used to make) and the vegetable of the night. Isaac always orders the chicken Parmesan atop spaghetti, which he says is one of the best in the area (he would know, as he's tried just about every offering in the county.)
